Chris and Reggie's Cosmic Treadmill

Picking up right where we left off last time - Cutter and Rayek are in the midst of THE CHALLENGE, and there two trials remain!  We'll discuss'em both right here!
Also: Our usual "back-matter", including the Quests & Answers Letters Page, the Bullpen Bulletins, and an extended look at the Ads... which feature some of our very favorite ones of the era: Saturday Morning Cartoons!
All that, plus some news on the ElfQuest AUDIO MOVIE and an update on the ElfQuest lead figurines we didn't even know were a thing a few episodes back!
Special Thanks to the ElfQuest Facebook Group!

Welcome to the fold, Cable!  Hope you enjoy your (relatively short) stay!
Our eleventh Collected Edition sees Kid Cable best Wolverine in battle before getting swept away to deal with some, of all things, Spaceknight stuff.  Excalibur is... back in Otherworld (duh), The New Mutants deal with boring Nova Roma stuff, X-Men focuses on Vulcan... and banging Brood in what might be the worst story to come out of this volume, X-Force heads into Terra Verde, and Marauders sees Pyro infected by a tiny little fellow.
All that, plus the usual backmatter nonsense you know and tolerate!  Lotsa Crucible fall-out chatter!  You're gonna love it (I hope)!

The New Mu's are in their Carnation Abominations, and are ready to strut their stuff down the Green Carpet for the Hellfire Gala.  What's up with Tier?  Where's Gabby?  What's the deal with Amahl Farouk?  Can Doug and Warlock still be pals in a post-Bei the Blood Moon world?  Is Tran gonna show up?

Some of those answers and more... today!

Also: Mailbag and a little bit of x-relevant news for fans of Marvel mobile games

Finally... we get to talk about the event that we had mostly spoiled for us months ago!  It's no longer the worst kept secret in the X-Books... it's out in the open!
So, for the few of you asking what it IS that I'm talking about -- Well, you'll have to listen (or, ya know, read the issue AND listen) to find out.
We've got some X-Cellent X-Tended Mailbag today as well, introducing a new letter writer to boot!

Taking a sidebar from the #HellfireGala to check in on the COTA kids... who are still, after four issues, trying to figure out their way through the Krakoan Gates!
The glacial pace continues... we'll talk Mutant Appropriation, Pit-Sweat Consent, and much more!
We've also got some great Mailbag!

It's the FINAL ISSUE of X-Men (vol.5)... and it's where we FINALLY get our first actual X-Men team of the Krakoan Era!  This should be super-exciting... if only Marvel didn't spoil it for us three month ago!
Oh well, we'll make the best of it!
Plus: More Sinister Secrets!  Illuminati Talk!  Mailbag!  I wax on about Beast's Ethical Handcuffs for way too long!  And much much more!

Welcome back to X-Lapsed... I wish we could be meeting under better circumstances, but alas - it's Excalibur day!
The Hellfire Gala rolls on, and Betsy Britain and the Gang engage in some ridiculous global politics, Rictor broods, and one of our team members is lucky enough to escape this book!
You WILL believe that a Coven of Witches can impact the global landscape... or not, but you'll see it either way.

Continuing the celebration of FIVE YEARS of Chris and Reggie with a compilation of another one of our "tentpole" series' wherein we go deep into the somewhat seedy, certainly salacious, world of Underground Comix!  We start with Tijuana Bibles... and don't stop until present day... talking about what Underground Comix were, what they became, and how they're still relevant to this day.
I hope you enjoy!
