Chris is on Infinite Earths, Episode 34: Leonard the Duck??? (1996)

Welcome friends, to the long-awaited... well, long "in the works" 34th Episode of Chris is on Infinite Earths!
After a few minutes of "housekeeping", we dive into some Weird Comics History, in the form of the Great Ducknapping of 1996!  We discuss the plot hatched by Steve Gerber and Erik Larsen to swipe Howard the Duck from Marvel Comics... and, in so doing, check out Spider-Man Team-Up #5 from Marvel, Savage Dragon/Destroyer Duck #1 from Image, and... in order to tie it all in with the blog's DC-Only mandate, the Nevada short story from Vertigo Winter's Edge #2 (1999).
In addition, we'll talk about some of the fall-out from this stunt via some snippets of Sean Howe's Marvel: The Untold Story... as well as consider its unmet potential insofar as opening up some much-needed discussion in the comics industry.  It's a story of intrigue, petulance, and collateral damage... you won't wanna miss it!

Welcome back, Recruits!
This time out, our main man Will Deguchi takes center stage.  He's a changed man since his run-in with the Morituri Monsters, and appears to have immeasurably more (and less) control over his mental projection powers.  What could it mean to a team with a death sentence, when one of their own might just know who's next to perish?  Many questions are raised in this one, really setting the stage for the next chapter(s) in the (truncated) lives of our heroes!

From Claremont to Claremont: An X-Men Podcast, Episode 2 - November, 1991

Change is in the air... and, boy do we hope it's fleeting!
Welcome folks, to our exhaustive look at the 16th issue of our favorite comic book series, Strikeforce: Morituri!  You ever wonder what might happen when the constant threat of death becomes mundane?  Well, wonder no more... because last issue's fatality barely gets a passing mention this time out!  Also, our last remaining original Aline goes... AWOL!  Where did she go?  None of the Morituri seem to care in the slightest!  We've got Mr. Wetworks, weird factories, a gross showdown at the AZ Corral, and... Monster Morituri????

As we near the half-way point of the Morituri Mondays project, the stakes continue to rise!  In today's show, our "One to Grow On" character, Louis (Radian) makes some startling discoveries... and his methods might just wind up costing him his life!  Also, fresh off her Court Martial "performance", Ruth seems to be getting a bit of the stink-eye from the Paideia Brass and Commander Yuri!  Also still... Aline is still pregnant, and is growing more and more concerned as her clock continues to tick!  OH! And also... the Horde's gone and grown tentacles... what a sticky wicket, indeed!
In other nonsense, we get to learn about Bob Budiansky, the Bronx, almost profanely overstuffed OREOs, Captain Power, and your hosts share their eulogy for Schitt's Creek!
